Is no one else shattered by the way an ocean shimmers,
One enormous sheet of diamonds in the sun?
Does no one notice how each massive mountain
Breathes through rise and valley in its snowy chest?
Why are we talking about anything but this?
Have you seen these things?
Then, why war or work or love or drugs instead?
We could have been with beauty -
She always knew us best.
